Stop Global Whining

I was listening to talk radio this morning, hearing about Al Gore and how much his Manision consumes in Utlitilies a month . I wanted to get to my computer right away and blog on it. I was beaten to punch by the great Greg Patterson over at espressopundit. He wrote a great story.

This is my add .

When Al Gore was asked to comment. His explanation is that he he purchase "Carbon Credits' from underdeveloped countries that that have no pollution.
Now here's the real flaw in this thinking. If you buy into "Global Warming" that mean the current level of pollution is the problem (Keyword current). Why would you pay a country that's not producing pollution to not produce more pollution? These countries aren't part of the current problem, they're not creating pollution. So why pay them to do NOTHING. Just more liberal spending to keep paying for the status quo.

And this man wanted to be President?

My Identity

I've heard the rumor that my true identity is being hunted.

I'm going to try to hide as long as I can for the fact once people know who is writing, people get a preconceived notion of why a person writes what they do.

I try to be fair and even handed. I hold punches on Politicians that I don't like and I've even punched at a few that I do like. I don't believe in following the same beat everyone else is.

My goal is to have an outlet for my opinions and to get more people involved. I don't subscribe to the "Big Tent" theory that some Arizona Republicans want. I believe in values and honesty. When I see someone being kicked for no reason I'll be the first to protect. When someone else gets it wrong I'll call it like it is.

Maybe I should change my name.

I had REAL work this weekend.

Sorry for the light posting over the weekend. I actually had to do some real work.

Bloggers start thinking that this is a job. It's not. I know my blog doesn't pay my bills....yet. ( I'm working on that.)

Over the weekend there have been several interesting posts on many sites that I've notice. Plus I've been working on a few research pieces. Stayed tuned over the next few days.

Liberals Don't Want Your Vote To Count

Just moments ago in the Arizona State House of Representatives the members failed to pass HB2090 on reconsideration.

HB2090 would require all county recorders to notify anyone who mailed in a early ballot that was not being counted due to the fact signatures did not match. There are many people, especially senior citizens, who registered to vote many years ago and since registering their signatures have changed. If they ordered an early ballot and signed not exactly the same , the ballots are not counted. In some counties the only notification is on a website. Many senior do not have access to the Internet and most people do not check to see if their ballot was counted.

Representative Rick Murphy made a very interesting comment while pushing to pass this bill "Many think that Republicans don't care if every vote is counted, looking at this board ( in reference to the house board that monitors members votes) the opposite is the cases."
The vote came out 25 "ayes" and 33 "nays". Most of the "No" votes coming from Democrats. However a few moderate Republicans (Kirkpatrick, McClure, Tobbin, Konopnicki, Hershberger, and Burns) voted with the Democrats

I believe that these legislators don't want these votes counted due to the well known fact that a higher percentage of early ballots voter are conservative. As we have seen in many races just a few votes could turn the tides. Dems and Moderate Republicans could lose their seat if this were to get through.

But will we ever see a story like this in the main media?

Andrew Thomas Under Fire from Arizona Republic

In a story published today, the Arizona Republic is attacking Andrew Thomas on spending too much money on Death Penalty cases. We have the Death Penalty in the state for a reason. Andrew is doing the right thing again and he needs our support.

Andrew Thomas is not liked by the liberal press due to the fact that he is enforcing immigration laws to the furthest extent possible. Andrew Thomas is also using the Death Penalty in cases. Neither stand to earn him friends on the liberal end of the continuum.

Now here's the kicker, Andrew is up for re-election in '08. I don't think that this is a coincidence that this story is running. This story will give any challenger a Republican or Democrat ammo in a negative hit piece. This story is trying to say that Andrew is spending too much money- a Republican issue . This story is also saying to the liberal he's using the death penalty. The Repulsive is already trying to bloody Thomas for the election cycle.

A few conservatives are not completely happy with Andrew due to the happening in '04 over the District 20 recounts. I'm saying this to the conservatives, Andrew is serving us well on our issues, remember when we elected him as County Attorney, we made him the Attorney of Recorded for the county. Andrew had to defend the county it was his job.

Some conservatives take every bump in the road as a serious issue. Sometime I believe you have to look at the job as a whole. Every Politician will make moves that we don't like. There's is not one out there that you will find is perfect. My suggestion is we need to learn to take the good and the bad. Please voice your concerns to the elected officials but unless it's a deal breaker of an issue maybe you need to get over it.

Haney up and Going Again.

Last Rob Haney was seen at the PAChyderm Coalition meeting last night. Haney was doing well and was in great spirits. The family was very appreciative for all the kind words and prayers. Last word is Rob didn't suffer from a heart attack, but it was a warning light going off.
Rob, make the needed changes so we can have you around for a long, long time.

PAChyderm Elects New Board !!!!

Last Night at Thank Q Rentals.....( Best Rental Service in Town) the PAChyderm Coalition elected a new executive board. Carl Seel former district 6 candidate was elected as Chairman. Milt Wheat moved from Chairman to 1st Vice Chairman. Jim Ries, former Glendale City Council candidate, was elected 2nd Vice Chairman after a great speech. Diana Douglas, Peoria School Board Member, has stayed on as Recording Secretary. Howard Levine rounds out this group as Treasurer.

This new group of individuals, I believe will bring new life and enthusiasm to this group. I expect to see great things this year from PAChyderm.

Why is the Media Paying More Attention to Romney's Religion than Obama's

In the news papers and other blogs over the past week or so, I've notice several articles on Mitt Romney and that his Mormon Religion, why haven't we seen the interview or articles on Obama's Muslim heritage.
Once again the liberal media is protecting one of their own and spinning a conservative.
The media and the ACLU want so bad for it to be either the First Black President or the First Woman President in the United States, they are holding nothing back against our Republican candidates. The media is already favoring the Democratic Candidates 2 to 1 on news reports. When reporting on Presidential campaigns we always see what Hillary's and Obama's campaigns are doing then maybe one of the Republican candidates.

Conservatives need to see the real threat!

Here is Arizona the conservatives in the Republican have been focusing on a "Not McCain" course. Well I'm sorry everyone there is a bigger "RINO" on the field than McCain. Rudy Giuliani right now is ahead in the poles so he might just sail threw because "we" ( I include myself) have been focusing way too hard on McCain.

If conservatives are going to voice displeasure in candidates due their stand on issues. We really need to focus our attention on the worst offender first.

Giuliani is pro-gun control, pro-choice, favors embryonic stem cell research, pro-amnesty, believes in domestic partner benefits, opposed both a federal and state ban on gay marriage, and believe in sanctuary city policies.

Rudy was once quoted "Most of Clinton’s policies are very similar to most of mine."

I'm sorry to many of anti-McCain crowd out there, McCain would be a far better nominee than Giuliani. We need to be making a lot more noise against Giuliani.

Sorry For the Down Time!!!!

Some of you may have noticed some down time yesterday. I purchased a real URL for the site. So now you can tell your friends about the easy name. It's www.AzRepublicanLook.com. I'll also say man I'm getting addicted to blogging. Just a few hours of my site not being seen put me into withdrawals. Is there a 12 step program for bloggers ? But I don't think I have a problem. I'm still in control.

Rob Haney has Heart Attack

I saw this on Espressopundit.
Rob Haney has Suffered a heart attack and is in Paradise Valley Hospital. No word yet on his condition.
As soon as I hear anything I'll let you know.
Rob Haney has worked hard for the Republican Party for many years now. He has great passion for his beliefs. Marne and Rob will be in our prayers today and the following days to come.
UPDATE: Rob is doing well. He is already wanting to come home.

Teens Graduated License Passes the State Senate.

SB 1347 The Teenage Driver Safety Act Pass the Arizona State Senate Today. With 23 "Yes" vote to 6 "No" vote and 1 "Not Voting" Sb 1347 will be transmitted to Arizona State House.
The "No" votes were a mixed bag on the bill. Republicans Flake, Gorman, Johnson and Verschoor voted "No" along with Democrats Pesquiera and Garcia. The "Not Voting" member was Sen. Linda Gray.

McCain's Pro-Life Words.

John McCain over this last weekend campaigned in Iowa and South Carolina. During both stops McCain was confronted about his views on abortion. In both states McCain did say that he believes Roe vs. Wade should be over turned. But what the other media isn't saying is on the matter of stem cell research he believe the nation still needs to have a discussion.
McCain is still not willing to give up on embryonic Stem cell research. In the past McCain has voted for embryonic stem cell research bills. Until Sen. McCain turns away from embryonic stem cell research, he will never be 100% Pro-life.

Hillary buying Black votes in SC.

NEWSMAX reported on Thurday that Hillary Clinton has "Earned" the endorsement of Sen. Daryl Jackson of South Carolina. It also goes on to tell that the Clinton Campaign is going to pay Sen. Jackson $10,000 a month in "Consulting" fees. In a state where 49% of the Democratic Primary vote is Black American's this is a critical endorsement.
But hey, if you can't earn the votes buy the influence right. Hillary should write a book "How to Buy Friends and Influence Media"
If this is how Clinton is going to run her campaign before long Gov. Napolitano will be "Paid" as a consultant. We all know the Gov. Napolitano will stand by her gal.

Anna is getting in the way of the Hillary and Obama Show

It is very sad that Anna Nicole Smith has died at the age of 39. Sadder is that she leaves behind a 5 month old daughter.
I just found myself this week saying to the news channels "Enough is Enough" and "Please report something new, not just the same facts over and over". That was the pessimist in me. Then the optimist popped it's head out last night. "Hey, but I haven't had to watch the Hillary and Obama show for a week"
Just prior to Anna's death I was definitely noticing a favoring of Hillary and Obama in the news. Everyday I would see their faces splashed across the televisions screen. Major networks were covering normal campaign stops and visit for these two democratic candidates. Where is the same attention to the Republican candidates. I'm sure McCain, Giuliani, and Romney are out there on the campaign trail. Hunter, Brownback, Tancredo and Huckabee are also working hard. I'm sure out of all these candidates one of them will do or say something interesting daily.
So right now I'm thankful that the world is obsessed with Anna Nicole Smith.

Great "Right " Band

I actually found a great band on Myspace. The Right Brother is a great conservative Republican band. It's worth going to their Myspace page and listening to "the List" and "Bush was Right". For those of you who are McCain fan's "the List" may be a little too much for you.
So that is today's entertainment tip.

Renzi Gives Passionate Speech Against Democrat Resolution

I watched Congressman Renzi speech against the Democratic Resolution against the War in Iraq and fully agreed with him. Our troops over there are proud to be over there. The Iraqi people are depending on us to protect them and bring security to there land. If we leave now, we will only leave the door open for terrorist and genocide. The insurgents are now getting energized because they see our waiver. This resolution will bring on more attacks and more of our troops being injured and killed. The democrats will just blame us for being there in the first place. They won't even think that they caused the fighting to increase because of their actions.

The Past Predicts the Future

Reading the blogs today I came across the Politico Mafioso talking about quotes From Sen. Hillary Clinton. This made me want to take out my copy of "Unlimited Access" by Gary Aldrich.
This event takes place on the first Inauguration Day of President Clinton after an discussion of office space. Hillary wanted the office typically for the Vice President.
The policeman knocked and opened the door of the holding room. He immediately shut it, beating a hasty retreat. Hillary Clinton was screaming at her husband in what described as "uncontrolled and unbridled fury." Apparently, the matter of office space was not settled.
The Capitol Hill police and the Secret Service quickly conferred about intervening if it appeared the president's life might be threatened by the first lady! The question before them was, "How much physical abuse is too much physical abuse?" Unlimited Access pg 11
Now if Hillary acted like this as the First Lady, What will she be like as President?

Solider Stabbed by Illegal Alien.

I was forwarded a story about a soldier being stabbed by an illegal alien (reported correctly be Channel 5). What I really found interesting is how it was being reported. Channel 3 , Channel 12 and Channel 15 stories says just a "neighbor" stabbed him. No an illegal alien, someone who shouldn't be here, stabbed this brave man.
If news stations and papers would report how often illegal alien were actually committing crimes more people would be outraged.

It's My Lane and I'll Pay If I Want To.

Well SB 1585 has now made it out of the State Senate Transportation. After a presentation from a group advocating For Privatization of HOV lanes. Now beside the HOV on the I17 this bill has now been amended to include the SR51. Now these lanes that were paid for by all taxpayer as HOV, would now be available for single person cars if you're willing to pay the "Bribe". Sen. Gorman and Sen. Gould are only seeing the money.
What about the morals?
These legislators were completely against the cameras on Loop 101 in Scottsdale, but enforcement of these new toll road would be made with cameras. So no big brother on Loop 101 because we don't make money, but camera's on I17 and SR51 are OK because we make money on that.
I know I've heard Sen. Gorman in past make statement that any increase of fees is a tax increase. But here she is wanting to create fees. Her argument is that this fee is an optional, but is most fees are "optional". Because you don't HAVE to be a real estate agent, but you have to pay a fee to get a license if you do. You don't HAVE to be a Securities dealer, but if you want to you pay a fee to get that license. A fee is a tax.

Way to Go Senator Verschoor!!!!!!

I just have to say I am so very proud of Senator Thayer Verschoor. His bill SB 1550 is great for the Pro-life cause. In this bill it will requires all abortion clinics to file a report with 48 hours of preforming an abortion. In this report it will include the doctor preforming the abortion, the age of the woman, the age of the fetus and a lot of other data that's not currently available. With this bill we can actually see how many abortion are being performed. This will be a great step forward. For so many years the abortion groups have tried to hide these numbers because they know if actually numbers are reported the public would be outraged. Please call your State Senator and urge them to support this bill.

Fishing For Disabled Veterans

Here's another great bill. SB 1305 grants disabled Arizona veterans free fishing licenses. These men and women served our country with honor. They gave themselves for our freedom. I believe we can a least let them fish for free.

Making Government go 21st Century

Now I have to say with SB 1237 Sen. Harper and Sen. Chuck Gray are going in the right direction. This bill will require all public bodys of cities and towns of more than 2500 people to post their minutes on their website. This bill will make it easy for anybody to look up votes and happening with ease.
Let make government more transparent.

Dems want cops stopping for Seat belts.

Democrats want police officer to take there precious time pulling people over for seat belts. I believe that people do need to wear their seat belts, but do we really need cops pulling them over for it. That's what the Democrats that sponsor HB 2688 want.
The other negative of this bill is cops may stop a car that they "thought" had their seat belts off.

State Senator believes dating more important than Safety

Last week in the Arizona State Senate Transportation committee passed SB 1347 out of committee on vote of 4-1. The single "no" vote was from Senator Gorman. SB 1347 is the "Teenage Driver Safety Act". This bill if passed will prohibit teenage drivers from driving late at night and with a car load of other teenagers. Arizona is one of 5 states that have not already put such restrictions on teenage driver. Studies have already showed the effectiveness of these programs in other states.

When given a chance to explain her vote, Sen Gorman argued that this bill would basically make group dating for teenagers illegal and she believes in group dating.

This is a very weak argument. If the teenagers want to go on group dates then let's get the parents involved and have them drive. There is also public transportation and what about separate cars.

I'm sorry public and teen safety is more important than dating.

Tom Tancredo Meet's with Border Patrol Agent Ramos

I was forwarded this story. I thought you should know.

Congressman: Convicted agent's injuries are worse than reported

Yazoo Federal Prison (Feb 10, WASHINGTON, DC) - An imprisoned former Border Patrol agent who was beaten in his sleep has injuries that are more serious than previously reported, said a congressman on Friday.

Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-Colo., met with Ignacio Ramos, who was convicted in March for the nonfatal shooting of a Mexican drug smuggler. Ramos is serving an 11-year sentence at Yazoo Correctional Complex in Mississippi.

Tancredo said he was astonished at the injuries on Ramos' body, which he said did not coincide with reports from the prison earlier this week that described his injuries as "minor.""His bruises were deep and severe," Tancredo said. "His arm, chest and back are black and blue with broken blood vessels on his arm. It was terrible."

Ramos was beaten Saturday night by roughly a half-dozen inmates who recognized him from a TV show that aired shortly before 10 p.m. He was pulled from his cell, which remains unlocked until midnight, by the inmates and kicked repeatedly by the men who were wearing steel-toed boots. The boots are issued to inmates for their daily work, according to the prison's Web site.

Ramos did not see a doctor until Wednesday, Tancredo said.

The prison's warden, Constance Reese, did not return phone calls for comment.

According to a prison press release, "Ramos was evaluated by medical staff at the institution, who determined he had sustained some bruises and abrasions."

Charles Smith, a spokesman for the institution, also said in the release that Ramos' injuries "were minor in nature."

"Inmate Ramos was subsequently placed in the Special Housing Unit pending a thorough investigation of the incident. He will remain in the Special Housing Unit until the conclusion of this investigation."

Prison officials have interviewed six inmates associated with the assault, Tancredo added. The congressman said he is working to move the former agent to a facility where Ramos will be safe.Representatives of Rep. Dana Rohrabacher, R-Huntington Beach, visited the facility with Tancredo. Tara Setmayer, Rohrabacher's communications director, said she was astonished at the injuries Ramos sustained.

Setmayer said Reese refused to allow her, or Tancredo, to view photos taken of Ramos the night of the incident or any documents regarding the ongoing investigation into the case.

"To underestimate the seriousness of the assault on (Ramos) is a disingenuous characterization by the prison officials," Setmayer said. "He clearly is the victim of a vicious attack. And the ineptitude demonstrated by prison officials with such a high-profile prisoner is troubling.

"Ramos and fellow former agent Jose Compean were convicted of shooting Osbaldo Aldrete-Davila in the buttocks and violating his civil rights. Compean was sentenced to 12 years in an Ohio federal prison.

Watch Out Pharmacists

The liberals are at it again. The Pro-Abortionist of the State Senate want to force Pharmacist to fill prescriptions for abortion drugs against their own beliefs. SB 1470 will force pharmacist to dispense abortion drugs, if a pharmacist refuses they will be subject to having their license revoked for 15 year on the first offense.

I expect better.

Like I said before it's time to dig into the Legislative bills. I'm sorry to report that I'm deeply disappointed with 3 very conservative legislators. Sen. Gould, Sen. Harper and Sen. Gorman all wish to turn the HOV lane on the I17 into a toll lane. I don't believe in turning something that all taxpayers paid for into a private lane for those who can afford it can use. What makes them better than the rest of the taxpayers. What really disturbs me is the fact that in this propose Bill, the section of the I17 south of 101 is Sen. Gorman direct route to the Capitol. This looks a little self serving.

Hypocrite, Hypocrite

Rep. Sinema is one of the biggest hypocrite out there. Sinema and other liberals have drop a bill to repeal the death penalty here in Arizona. HB 2278 would repeal our death penalty and provide for a "Natural Life" sentence. Yet this is a woman who openly supports abortions. So it's OK to kill innocent children, but save the life of a convicted murder.

Bill to make Americn Flags Non-Taxable

HB 2135 is a bill sponsored by Rep. Kavangh, Rep.Reagan and Rep Adams that would make American Flags non-taxable. This should have been done a long time ago. How Un-American is it to tax your country's flag.

More Smoking Bans

HB 2729 is a purposed bill that would make it illegal to smoke in a car with a minor. I'm not a smoker, but I do not favor the government telling us what to do. Then the next step will be you can't smoke inside your own home. This is a road we do not wish to travel on. Mr. Clark is the only Republican sponsor of the bill. Mr. Clark ran on a platform of less government and conservative values.

More Goverment Republicans

Today I really went digging to bills that have been proposed. Another bill caught my eye. HB 2320 would make loan originators obtain a license. Current in Arizona only the Mortgage broker needs to get licensed. Then the broker is liable for the people that they hire and keep under them. Making originators obtain a license only creates more government and will limit competition in the loan market. You may think that this bill was sponsored by Democrats, no it is sponsored by Republicans. Mind you most of the Republican sponsors are known to be more left leaning. The sponsors include McCLain, Reagan, Konopnicki and Crump. Crump is a freshman and hasn't gotten a name for himself yet. But in previous years was well connected to more moderate Republican Clancy Jayne.

Trying to Undermine Prop 200 again

I was just reading through some of the proposed bills this session and notice HB 2059. This bill sponsored by Sinema, Gallardo, Campbell, and Lujan would make any piece of mail that is posted marked with a name and address legal identification at the polls. This action would make voter fraud easier. Anyone could mail themselves a letter and that would become ID. The postal service doesn't screen for true identity or if in fact that person lives at that address. I don't believe that this bill will make it out of committee. I just wanted to point out the fact that the liberals are still trying to undermine prop 200.

Police may get more help solving crimes

Being a huge fan of CSI I found this very interesting. Sen. Chuck Gray has sponsored SB1267 a bill that will make collecting DNA samples as part of the booking process. Sen Gray argues that fingerprints are taken from everyone arrested and book. Those databases are used everyday to identify criminals. DNA is today's fingerprints. Sen. Gould fears that this maybe the start of a national DNA database.

Both Senators have good arguments. Which way should this be taken. Do we have a DNA database that may help solve more crimes or do we error on the side of keeping big brother out of our lives. Another issue to consider is the cost. How much will this new database cost or how much will it save. I'm still on the fence here.

MCSO to get Training

Maricopa County supervisor have now approved that 160 Sheriff officers will get training to enforce our immigration laws. I love this new move. I hope that more county and cities follow this lead. If more law enforcement actually detained illegal immigrants and hand them over to federal authorities more illegal would be deported. I also believe our crime rate would drop. Just last week a Gilbert woman was killed in Mesa by a drunk illegal alien that was just pulled over days before for other traffic violations. If that illegal alien was detained that mother would still be alive.

Air Pelosi

In one of the most egotistical moves yet, Speaker of the House Pelosi is asking for a private plane for her trips back and forth to California. Pelosi however hasn't just asked for a small plane. She has asked for a plane that has a crew of 16, seats 42 passengers in a large compartment, a sleeping area with king size bed, state of the art communications and entertainment features. After all her demands, if granted this plane will cost the tax payers $300,000 round trip every trip.
Now I wonder is this why the people elected new blood into Congress. So that they may have a self serving government that waste their tax dollars.
Let's do some math....... If Pelosi only returns home once a week that's 52 trips a year, she's in office for 2 years at $300,000 a trip.

$300,000 x 52 x2 = $31,200,000

How many armored vest could that buy for our troops? How many children could that provided an education for? How many border patrol agents would that employ?

76 Republicans Still Missing

Rep. Tom Feeney of Florida has written a letter to the President to urge him to veto any and all new tax increases that may pass through Congress. Rep. Feeney has ask all the Republican to sign this letter to show that the Presidents veto will not be overridden. As of today there are still 76 Republican yet to sign this letter. I'm happy to report that all of the Republican House members from Arizona have signed the letter. However, Congressman Duncan Hunter of California still has not signed this letter. For those of you, who are supporting Rep. Hunter please put a call into his office and urge him to sign as soon as possible. I'm sure Rep. Hunter hasn't signed yet due to his heavy traveling schedule.

A Disappointing Hearing......

Today in the State House, the Homeland Security and Private Property Committee heard HB 2286. If you're not familiar with HB 2286 it was titled "Domestic Terrorism". Basically it would have made Neighborhood Watch and the Minuteman Civil Defense Corp or any person that carried a weapon while patrolling to seek out crimes in progress. This bill was very flawed in words and in concept. Besides limiting our right to bear arms and right of free assembly this bill would have made your neighborhood watch programs illegal. The bill did not define a weapon. So if you even carried a stick, crane or any object that may cause bodily harm you would be committing Domestic Terrorism while patrolling your neighborhood or even your own property. Forget about the fact that this bill would have made private security guards "Domestic Terrorist".
What I was really disappointed with was the matter that the Republicans on this committee let the liberals (Sinema, Garrado, Prezelski) almost wiggle out of this really bad bill. First of all when Rep. Sinema spoke about this bill, she brought news footage of Chris Simcox and the MCDC. Beside this footage being manipulated by the media to portray these men and women that donate their time and energy to watch our border and notify the authorities as "crazy vigilantes", showing this footage demonstrated that Rep. Sinema was directly going after MCDC. Then the liberals side step the actual wording of this bill saying that it's not actually Chris Simcox's group we're trying to stop, it's white supremacy groups or people that promote hate. Mind you that no where in this bill does it deal with hate speech or hate crimes. No Republican called them on the carpet on that point. The Republican today heard this bill just to prove a point and no one actually made the point. There was no way that this bill would have ever passed and to just vote it down twice and to listen to the testimony was a waste. Next time a committee wants to make an example out of a really bad bill actually make an example out of it.

Remember the Titans

Saturday Night I was flipping through the channels and found "Remember the Titans". I started thinking to myself " Boy isn't this exactly where we are in the state party." Coach Boone - the man in charge that half the town doesn't want. Coach Boone had to find a way to make two different teams one. Coach Boone had on lookers hoping he would fail. Coach Boone had a team that didn't like each other. Coach Boone had players that didn't like playing for him. In the end Coach Boone created a team that was "perfect". Boone created a team that played his way and won.

"No Flaws" yeah right.

A new taste test report came out today saying McDonald's coffee has "No Flaws". The only people that think McDonald's coffee has "No Flaws" are people that the coffee has burned off their taste buds. Beside being so hot that it actually can cause blistering burns causing permanent scars, it always taste burnt and nasty to me. I hate McDonald's coffee. The next thing I know I'm going to hear is "You must like your coffee weak." No actually, I'm a person that in the past has munch on chocolate covered coffee beans. I love coffee. My coffee cups are the double portion cups. So my only opinion is that the tasters have no taste buds left.

The 9/11 commission- When will they get it?

I'm still in total disbelief. I just read this article from the Republic and I am shocked. After countless thousands of Arizonians complaining about the 9/11 memorial, the commission just wants to put up two new pillars describing the events of the day. Sorry here, Speaker Weiers has it right. All of the hideous inscriptions need to be removed. This commission must have marching orders from "Governor No". Common sense and American Pride should tell this commission to remove the inscriptions.

The Pot calling the Kettle Black

San Francisco, the city of weirdos and homosexuals are now crying for morals. In this story some San Francisco residents are upset that a porn company has moved into an old Army Reserve building. Now isn't this "The Pot Calling the Kettle black" a city famous for accepting all non traditional sexual behavior now has a tough time with S&M. I'm sorry you will find no sympathy from conservatives. San Francisco has been trying to undermine traditional morals for decades. You've made your bed now lay in it.

McCain actually gracing us with his presense.

At Politico Mafioso I notice a post of an invation. McCain is actually going to make a visit to Arizona. I am no fan of our Senior Senator, but in fairness I believe you should know he's coming. I also believe even if you disagree with the man maybe you should attend just to hear how he's packaging himself. Another reason to attend is to see which party players are supporting Sen. McCain.

Ideas .......

I'm going to open a topic in total seriousness here. Let's dialog on

"What can we do to Help the Republican party this year?"

I don't want to see any digs on current or past chairs of the state party or districts. Let's put some idea out there and maybe someone will actually agree with them and start working.

Here are a few from me so you can see that I'm actually thinking of the party here.

1) Every district in the state should be conducting voter reg. drives at least once a month. We strive to create a volunteer organization with our PC's. Volunteers need something to volunteer to do. If we could organize it to be the same weekend every month for all the district it could really gain synergy.

2) For the districts that are largely Democrat, we need to organize a trip into the areas and find PC for those districts. If we have volunteers in the area maybe we can gain some ground, instead of just giving it up to the Democrats.

Now it's your turn. Remember play nice.
