This is likely to put more pressure on their leadership as the bills they have recently run up become due, especially as they have put little in the way of infrastructure in place to produce more oil than their current output.

I would hope that our government would consider something like this if they haven't already. $1 a gallon gas would bring Iran to it's knees economically, and it is well withing Saudi Arabia's power to get it there. Let's see just how much they fear Iran.

Getting more oil online out of Iraq would help as well.Framerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14284204637232481565noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3293712075187383729.post-88107264307077502502007-01-31T10:06:00.000-08:002007-01-31T10:06:00.000-08:002007-01-31T10:06:00.000-08:00Yeah, I know it was meant to be funny .. and for t...Yeah, I know it was meant to be funny .. and for the most part it is. I just commented on 7 because I found the idea behind it mind-numbingly stupid ... and I just "know" someone, somehere out there on the internet is posting this as a serious approach.

("Know" in quotes because I don't really _know_ it, although it's certianly the way I would bet. :)Sirocconoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3293712075187383729.post-87485142314593130352007-01-31T09:38:00.000-08:002007-01-31T09:38:00.000-08:002007-01-31T09:38:00.000-08:00This is Robin Williams, it is meant to be funny. If they don't like it, we go someplace else. They can go somewhere else to sell their production. (About a week of the wells filling up the storage sites would be enough.)

... for the sheer stupidity of it. The reason gas prices are high is because there is a lot of demand for it. Any oil we didn't purchase from "Saudi Arabia and other oil producing countries" would be pretty quickly snatched up by emerging economies in India and China.Sirocconoreply@blogger.com
